- Suwannee County

Milling and resurfacing work on Interstate 10 is slated to begin October 26 between the Madison County line at the Suwannee River and U.S. 90. The project is expected to be completed by Summer 2021, according to the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), with weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.

The $8.8 million project, in addition to milling and resurfacing, will include some drainage improvements, along with other incidental construction.

FDOT has hired Anderson Columbia Co., Inc., of Lake City, to handle construction activities.

Motorists should expect some daytime, weekday lane closures; however, no lane closures are allowed between 6 a.m. Friday and 7 p.m. Sunday to better accommodate increased traffic.
