Celebration and Opportunities to Participate in The Foundation for Florida Gateway College's Giving Season!

By Noah Walker

Community Members from across North Florida are invited to join the Foundation for FGC’s Inspiring Giving Day Campaign from now till November 14th and Second Annual Food Truck Event on November 14th

The Foundation for Florida Gateway College (FGC) is thrilled to announce its much-anticipated Giving Day Campaign set to take place on November 14th, 2023. In celebration, we are hosting a second annual Food Truck Event from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the FGC Foundation Office, offering a perfect blend of delicious food, community engagement, and the shared goal of supporting education.

The ambitious aim of our Giving Day Campaign is to raise a significant amount of $100,001 by November 14th. The funds generated will immensely benefit FGC and its students, propelling individuals toward achieving their scholastic objectives and thereby enriching their educational journey.

A special highlight of our Giving Day is the Food Truck Event where a donation of $25 not only secures a delicious meal from an array of featured food trucks but also contributes to boosting our local economy and aiding students in their academic endeavors. We are excited to have Empanada Box, Buttman's Catering & Seasoning, and Cluckin' and Truckin' on board, with refreshing beverages generously provided by SunStop.

The Giving Day Campaign underscores the pivotal role of community contributions in actualizing The Foundation’s core belief – ensuring that no student at FGC should require a student loan to fulfill their educational aspirations.

Supporting The Foundation for FGC's Giving Day Campaign can be done in a grand total of three easy ways:

Make a direct donation through FGC.edu/Give

Engage in the Giving Day Food Truck Event.

Participate in our exclusive Online Auction on November 1st, featuring a plethora of unique and curated experiences such as hunting trips, fishing charters, vacation packages, Gator and Seminole tickets, among others. The link for the online auction will go live on November 1st, and we can’t wait to share it with everyone.

Mark your calendar for November 14th, come enjoy delectable food, and stand with us in supporting FGC students. Your presence and generosity will play an integral part in transforming lives through education. We are eagerly looking forward to celebrating this special day with you!
