RIVEROAK Technical College held its 2020-2021 Practical Nursing Graduation on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at 6:00 p.m., at the Suwannee County Coliseum. Twenty students successfully completed the 11 month, 1,350 clock hour program and received their diploma and nursing pin.



The graduation guest speaker was Kerry Waldron, Administrator at Florida Department of Health for Suwannee and Lafayette Counties. He challenged the students to always follow WAC- watching your words, actions and character to positively influence people you encounter.


Geralyn Bristol and Lacey Patterson were presented awards for Highest Overall GPA. Kayla Jackson and Liliana Martin received Perfect Attendance awards. Most Improved Student Award was presented to Taylor Proffitt and Best in Overall Clinical Performance Award recipient was Geralyn Bristol.


Riveroak 2019-2020 LPN Alumni representative, April Carroll, shared the history of the nursing lamp and led the Nightingale Pledge.
