NFC Physics Students Tour the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory
MADISON, FL - NFC Physics instructor Dr. Guenter Maresch took his Physics II students on a field trip to Tallahassee last week to tour the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory.
The MagLab is the largest and highest-powered magnet laboratory in the world. The MagLab is a partnership among Florida State University, the University of Florida and Los Alamos National Laboratory offering a variety of tools and techniques for exploring physics, chemistry, biology and engineering in an interdisciplinary, collaborative environment.
