Winn-Dixie Celebrates Newly Remodeled Live Oak Store with Community
New store concept provides enhanced shopping experience for local residents

Live Oak, Fla., – Winn-Dixie officially unveiled the newly remodeled Live Oak Winn-Dixie store to the local community on Wednesday, Dec. 15 with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 8 a.m. at the store, located at 911 Pinewood Drive SW in Live Oak. In celebration of the new store and to give back to the community and its future leaders, Winn-Dixie presented a $500 donation to Suwannee High School and a $500 donation to Wellborn Community Association during the ceremony.

Over the past year, Winn-Dixie gathered feedback directly from local customers and associates to transform the Live Oak store into a shopping destination that is both convenient and beautiful for the local community. The refreshed store now offers an updated produce department, a new Dollar Shop within the store and additional offerings, all at the right price.

To celebrate the new and improved store with the local community, Winn-Dixie will host a socially distanced community celebration with live entertainment and giveaways. On Saturday, Dec. 18 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., there will be $100 gift card raffles every hour and two special drawings, one at 1 p.m. for a chance to win a red Yeti cooler and one at 5 p.m. for a chance to win a Green Egg Smoker grill. Additional activities include a holiday selfie station, Christmas tree ornaments and cookie decorating stations (while supplies last) and a Christmas elf appearance from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. The community celebration is free and open to all.

With fresh concepts and features, the new and improved Live Oak Winn-Dixie now includes:
• New façade signage and a fresh, contemporary color palate and modern store signage inside.
• Newly updated produce department featuring an expanded selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, including organic varieties, and convenient grab-and-go fresh selections for customers in a hurry.
• An improved deli with expanded offerings including a wide assortment of easy lunch and dinner options including a hot bar with rotisserie chicken, wing bar with several flavor varieties, as well as prepared sandwiches and salads.
• Expanded bakery department with new self-service doughnuts.
• Refreshed meat department offering a wide selection of fresh meats including premium angus beef selections.
• Expanded full-service seafood department offering shoppers a variety of fresh seafood on ice, additional frozen seafood assortments, as well as the “Seafood Made Easy” option where customers can choose the type of seafood, vegetables and seasoning to be packaged together for easy preparation at home.
• Expanded natural and organic selection with new products across the store.
• Updated health and beauty section with expanded offerings.
• Updated floral department to help customers find the perfect bouquet for any occasion.
• New Dollar Shop section with hundreds of items to provide customers with the convenient items they look for the most at incredible prices.
• Brand new liquor store with a price-match guarantee on a wide selection of spirits, as well as beer and wine offerings within the liquor store and main store.
• Expanded grocery selection with additional products and assortments.
• A continued commitment to fresh quality and outstanding service.

The new and improved Live Oak store is open seven days a week from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m.
