Lake City, Fla. – Chief Judge Mark E. Feagle was unanimously elected to a second two-year term by the Judges of the Third Judicial Circuit February 19, 2021. Judge Feagle's new term will start on July 1, 2021 ending June 30, 2023. The Chief Judge is responsible for the speedy, efficient, and proper administration of justice as well as all administrative matters before the Court.
Judge Feagle received his B.A. from the University of Florida and his Juris Doctor from the Florida Coastal School of Law. Before taking the Bench in 2015, Judge Feagle was in private practice. Judge Feagle has been instrumental in helping the Circuit navigate the challenges brought by the Corona virus pandemic.
