Remote And Limited In-Person Options Available For February Governing Board Meeting
LIVE OAK, FLA.,– The Suwannee River Water Management District (District) will hold its Governing Board meeting on Tuesday, February 9 at 9 a.m. The meeting will be accessible online and open to the public with limited seating capacity.
Remote participation is encouraged due to limited seating capacity per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) COVID-19 recommendations. Members of the public attending the meeting in-person will be required to follow CDC Guidelines regarding social distancing. Face masks are required when entering the District facilities and where social distancing cannot be maintained.
Additionally, the meeting will utilize online technology for visuals and telephone technology for audio. Those wishing to provide public comment on an item, should submit their comment online at www.MySuwanneeRiver.com/Comments.
No public comments will be taken during this meeting concerning Seven Springs Water Company, Nestle Waters North America or the recommended order the District has received from the Division of Administrative Hearings (DOAH) in Seven Springs Water Company v. Suwannee River Water Management District, DOAH Case No. 20-3581. Public comments on this issue will be allowed at a subsequent special meeting of the Governing Board. The Governing Board anticipates opening and concluding the meeting on February 23, 2021, but if needed, the meeting may be continued to Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at 9:00 a.m.
