Smokey Bear Bumper Sticker Contest

The Florida Forest Service is holding a Smokey Bear Bumper Sticker Design Contest. The deadline is before September 30, 2020.

Use your artistic skills to create a Smokey Bear Bumper Sticker that sends a message to your community to help prevent devastating wildfires.

Requirements for Artwork:
Submission of art work will be by age groups: 10 years old and under; 11 years old thru 18 years old, and 19 years old up. Submission of Artwork should be before September 30, 2020 and include designers name, Age Group, and address.

Bumper sticker must 11.5” X 3” in size and contain a wildfire prevention message dealing with Human-Caused Wildfires. Examples are:

• Escaped Yard Trash
• Escaped Pile Burn
• Fire Caused by Equipment
• Playing with fire

The artwork or message cannot contain any profanity, sexual, racial, or any other type of inappropriate words, phrases or imagery. Any inappropriate words, phrases or imagery will automatically disqualify the submission.
The artwork cannot contain the Florida Forest Service Shield.

Artwork can be submitted in one of three ways:

3) Drop off at: Florida Forest Service, Suwannee Forestry Center, at y District Office, 137 SE Forestry Circle, Lake City, Florida, 32025 on US HWY 90 just West of Lake City Airport


Top Artwork:
The winning artwork, as well as, the top 90 submissions will be used as a collage in a Florida Forest Service Calendar. The calendar will not only include the bumper sticker artwork, but it will be customized to include information about wildfire prevention week, special individual wildfire days, and Smokey Bear’s Birthday
